Thank you for all of the love on my last post, if you missed it take a look. It’s so nice waking up to music 🎶 in our recently revamped bedroom. I bought us some new bedding and cushions to give our room all of the hotel feels & I will forever be grateful for the view out to the trees.

Today is an exciting day. I am shooting for a design collaboration and not one that I’ve shared yet as it’s top secret until closer to launch date 🤫

In between my health crisis / blip I’ve been working hard behind the squares to co design a series of products & the kitchen cabinetry you already know about things, so you too can have all of the Scandi feels in your home!

And where I have struggled to find what I am looking for it’s been a dream to design from scratch.

I’ve been sharing snippets of my home and journey for the last 7/8 years so it feels natural to be taking the next step and finally designing collections.

And only 2 days before we head off to Austin followed by a week at a bucket list location.. a clue 🏝️

ad I love to start my day with sound and listen to music. Do you do the same? And is your preference a mellow start to the day or something more upbeat?

I wanted to share some of the things I have implemented recently to improve the mood of my morning routine which leaves me waking up feeling calm and ready for the day ahead.

* Sleep with a slice of lemon next to your bed. The scent is a natural mood enhancer.

*You can set your alarm to wake up to stereo sound of your favourite music with the new @sonos Era 100

*Listen to @sonosradio Mellow Mornings for two/three minutes to set your mood for the day.

And we have to agree, how good the new compact Sonos speaker looks in our minimalist bedroom which has had a recent makeover!

We walked over 50,000 steps in Barcelona in 2 days

We walked over 50,000 steps in Barcelona in 2 days and my calves are aching all over but it was totally worth it!

Would love to know what your favourite city in the world is and why? I am working on a travel bucket list for my 40s!

Here are Barcelona highlights for you to save for day 2 & 3! And you can find day 1 highlights on the previous post.

✨ Stroll around the cobbled streets of the Gothic quarter & stop for a drink in one of the squares surrounded by palm trees.

✨ Coffee & pancakes @thefederalcafe

✨ You have to do an Art gallery a day & this time it was @fundaciomiro I can’t wait to come back & bring the little ladies.

✨ Europe’s biggest food market @la_boqueria yum!

✨ Book tickets in advance for @parkguell another Gaudi masterpiece & incredible views. We didn’t book tickets and it was sold out 😭 but got to stand outside and take a sneaky peek.

✨ On day 3 we needed to rest our legs so took a detour to Platja del Garraf, which is a sleepy fishing village & we relaxed at the beach and @sohohouse Little Beach House 🌴

✨ Next time we will take the Barcelona Cable Car! I’m not a fan of heights but definitely want the bird’s eye view of the city!

It was an action packed 2.5 days! We definitely want to go back and for longer next time. If you haven’t been yet definitely add Barcelona to your bucket list.

Our first 24hrs were a whirlwind! And I am in love with the atmosphere, architecture & the food in Barcelona.

Highlights for you to save from day 1:

✨ @basilicasagradafamilia this feels like it should be one of the seven wonders of the world right?!

✨ Divine food & possibly the best steak I’ve ever had @barmutbarcelona

✨ @museupicasso for all the Art Lovers! I did Art GCSE & always regret not doing it for A level as they got to go Barcelona! I’ve waited far too long to come here.

✨ A stroll around the gothic quarter & a dining experience like I have never had before sat at the bar with the waiters & chefs serving food and chatting! This has to be an absolute must for your trip to Barcelona @bar_canete

✨ @casabatllo one of Gaudi’s houses. No words! I’ve never seen Architecture like this inside & out!

✨ Shopping & the biggest @zara I’ve ever been in! But queues for fitting rooms & to pay were huge so I didn’t buy anything which made Matt (my husband) very happy 😃

Day 2 highlights include the best brunch in the world 👌🏽 and will share where we are staying. Off to the beach today 🏝️
